7 Tenant Turner Updates That Make Leasing Easier Every Day

Our headline update is the massive upgrade to Tenant Turner’s API documentation.

But we’ve got more than a handful of other updates you should know about that make leasing easier and more effective for you and your team.

Here’s what’s new:

A Big Upgrade to our API Documentation

Tenant Turner’s API documentation is now available directly in your dashboard. That means there’s no formal process and no waiting on us to get started.

Integration guides, endpoint references, and authentication details are all in one place and ready to go. If your team has been wanting to connect Tenant Turner to a CRM, property management tool, or internal system, this is your starting point.

The API now returns pet policy details too — whether pets are allowed, which types are permitted, and maximum size for small dogs — so you can surface that information directly.

A Smoother Scheduling Experience

Three updates work together to make the scheduling flow even smoother:

  • A new “Hide Pre-select Showing Time” toggle in Account Settingslets you hide the initial Select Time page prior to pre-qualification, isolating that step for the final stage after the lead has completed all required pages.
  • A better scheduling experience when wait list is enabled. If a rental has no available time slots, the Select Time step no longer shows up at all, so prospects don’t get confused and ask you why your calendar is empty.
  • A refreshed email verification stage. Completed steps now display in a distinct color so prospects can track their progress and warning messages now appear in a calmer, less alarming format.

Additionally, leads who start scheduling but don’t finish now receive an automatic text message 30 minutes later reminding them to complete scheduling.

This small nudge helps recover leads who simply got distracted mid-flow. And there’s no work required on your team’s part.

Upgrades to the Property Manager’s Experience

Full Visibility When Wait List Status Changes

When Tenant Turner automatically enables the wait list because a rental’s availability date is too far out, that event is now logged on the history page — with context on what triggered it. That way, when you see a status change, you’ll never be left wondering why it happened.

Faster Listing Setup

Selecting amenities for a listing now works with multi-select checkboxes instead of a one-at-a-time dropdown, plus a search field to jump straight to the one you need. For properties with a long list of features to highlight, this cuts out a repetitive part of listing setup.

Quarterly Fees Supported

Property managers can now set fees with a “Quarterly” duration timing, reflected correctly in the dashboard and synced across your listing feeds — a straightforward gap-fill for portfolios that bill on a quarterly schedule.

The Small Stuff Adds Up

Together these updates mean fewer dropped leads, clearer visibility into account activity, a scheduling flow with less friction, and one less workaround for quarterly billing.
